What is Embroidery?

Embroidery is the process of sewing a design to your product using needle and thread.

How is Embroidery Priced?

Embroidery is mainly priced by stitch count, that is, how many stitches go into your design. Typical stitch counts for a 3-4" chest logo are about 5,000 to 10,000 stitches.  Larger designs with more fill and detail can be up to 20,000 stitches.  Jacket backs are typically much larger and we have sewn up to 180,000 stitch design on the back of a Carhartt coat. The more stitches in a design, the longer it takes to sew, the more expensive it is.

If we are sewing a custom logo, there is also a digitizing fee.  This is the process we use to convert your logo into a format that our sewing machine can read.  Digitizing is typically $50-60 per logo.  Large logos, like the 180,000 jacket back can be $80-100 per logo.  We do offer some discounting for digitizing multiple logos.

Digitizing is a one-time fee. We archive all of our digitizing so you will not pay that fee on re-orders.

Is Embroidery For Me?

Embroidery is ideal for polo shirts, hats, jackets, blankets, bags, and a variety of specialty applications. It adds an elegant and professional appearance to any application.  Embroidery also allows for easy and affordable customization when you want to add names and titles to multiple pieces like employee or team uniforms.

As with screen printing, the larger the order, the better the price per piece.
